Marianne Smith

Marianne Smith, 63, of Caryville, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 24 at her home. She was of the Baptist faith. She was a supporter of Campbell County Cancer Association, Children's Advocacy Center of Campbell County, Fraternal Order of Police (FOP) and was a LPN.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Bill Smith; mother, Emma Bowles; sister, Angie Bowles; and special aunt, Trudy Young.

She is survived by her children, Brian (Tracy) Clabough, Richard (Jessica) Smith, Christopher (Kensey) Smith, Stephanie (Kelli) Smith, David Clabough and Frank (Iva) Goetz; grandchildren, Zack Clabough, Riley Smith, Jesse Smith, Marley Smith, Grayson Smith, Miley Smith, Jax Smith, Dustin Clabough, Emily Clabough, Ashley Clabough, Tony Goetz and Katie Goetz; several great-grandchildren; father, William Martin Bowles; brothers, David Michael (Stephanie) Bowles, William (Judy) Bowles and Anthony Bowles; special nephews, David Bowles and Michael Bowles; several other nieces and nephews; and a host of other family and friends to mourn her passing.

The funeral service was on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at Rose Funeral & Cremation – Broadway and officiated by the Rev. Billy Smith.

Family and friends will meet at Rose Funeral & Cremation – Broadway on Thursday, Oct. 28 at 10:15 a.m. and leave in procession to Lynnhurst Cemetery for an 11 a.m. interment service.

In lieu of flowers, the family has ask that donations be made to Campbell County Cancer Association.
