Mr. Bobby D. Williams, 79, of Hogansville, died Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013, at West Georgia Medical Center.
Mr. Williams was born Sept. 10, 1934, in LaGrange, son of the late Henry and Lois Logan Williams. A veteran of service during the Korean Conflict, he served ten years in the U. S. Navy. He lived in the Hogansville area most of his life, was retired from William L. Bonnell Co. in Newnan, and was a member of Weathers Honda Riders Club.
Survivors include his daughter, Patty Miller and her husband, Ray, of Five Points, AL; step-daughter, Lisa LaFevor and her husband, Steve, of LaGrange; sister, Helen Ramsey of Hogansville; brothers, Felton Williams of LaGrange, Melvin Williams of Oakview, CA, and H. C. Brock of Hogansville; grandchildren, Heather Davis, Matthew Hanson, and Amanda Hanson; and six great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Williams.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, in the Chapel of Claude A. McKibben and Sons Funeral Home. His brother, Felton Williams, and his nephew, Clay Williams, will officiate and interment will be in Myrtle Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 until 8 Monday night.
