Inez Eleanor McCune Bryant, age 91, of LaGrange, passed away on September 29, 2016 at the Hospice LaGrange.
Mrs. Bryant was born on April 4, 1925, to the late Willie McCune and Zelma Henry McCune.
In addition to her parents, she preceded by her husbands, Lee Vernon Thigpen and Ed Bryant; daughter, Gayle Thigpen Lail; brothers, Dewey (Mac) McCune and Jimmy McCune; sister, Ludelle Baxter and Bernice Townsend; granddaughter, Renee Lail.
Survivors include her sons, Gary Thigpen and his wife Paula of Hogansville and Gordon Thigpen and his wife Rhonda of LaGrange; daughter, Linda Fletcher and her husband John of Carrollton. She is also leaving behind 8 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; extended family and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Baptist Tabernacle with Rev. Jimmy McMillian officiating.
Family will receive friends for visitation one hour before service time on Sunday at the church and on Saturday, October 1, 2016 from 5:00-7:00 pm at the Higgins LaGrange Chapel.
Entombment services will be held on Monday morning at 11:00 am at the Restlawn Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice LaGrange, 1510 Vernon Road, LaGrange, 30241 or Baptist Tabernacle, 849 South Davis Road, LaGrange, 30241.
