Mr. James C. Rutledge, Jr., 56 of LaGrange passed away January 6, 2016 at East Alabama Medical Center in Opelika, Alabama. James was born April 29, 1959 in Meriden, Mississippi, the son of James Charles Rutledge, Sr. and Ann Tanner.
James is survived by his children, Jennifer (Jason) Everett, Steven, TJ, William and James Michael Rutledge, his grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Connor, Hannah and Olivia Everett and Draven, Jada and Rylan Rutledge, sister, Linda Rutledge and several nieces and nephews.
James was preceded by his parents, James Charles Rutledge, Sr. and Ann Tanner., son, Michael Humphrey and sister, Sandra Cook.
A Gathering of Family and Friends will take place at Hunter Allen Myhand Funeral Home on Sunday, January 10, 2016 from 1:00 – 2:00 pm with a Memorial Service following at 2:00 pm.
