John Charles Thompson, owner of Worthy Insurance, passed away on January 5, 2014. John was born January 23, 1953, in Fayetville, TN, to Owen and Klowie (Rodgers) Thompson.
John graduated in 1975 from the University of Tennessee with a degree in Geology and was in the Marine Corps for 4 years.
John was a loving husband and devoted father. Survivors include his wife Ginger, four sons; Kenneth, Kevin, Corey and Colin, daughter Courtney, two brothers, Jim and Bob and sister, Kathy.
Visitation will be Wednesday, January 8th from 1-2 pm at Hunter Allen Myhand Funeral Home. The Memorial Service will follow at 2:00 pm with Dr. Paul Baxter officiating
