George Maki Obituary

Maki, George A. 73, of Beach Park, IL, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 3, 2014. He was born in Marquette, MI on December 10, 1940 to George and Evelyn (Hoy) Maki. George retired after 30 years at International Harvester (Libertyville, IL) to Eben Jct., Mi. George was also a member of Munising, MI Lions Club. He is survived by one son, George (Brandall); three daughters, Jean (Pablo) Ramirez, Sherry (Jeremy) Schwartz, and Robyn (Rob) Moeller; twelve grandchildren, Bryanna and Alan (Maki), April (Michael), Jennifer, Sara and Paul (Ramirez), Michelle, Staci, Matthew, and Sean (Vargas), and Braedon and Delainey (Moeller); and eight great-grandchildren, Addison, Ashland, Alexander, Conner, Kaleigh, Ky'ra, Logan, and Austin. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Sandy. There will be a Memorial Service in Chatham, MI at a later date. Bradley Funeral Home is serving the family. Info: 847-473-3966.
