Sorry we didn't get to the funeral we were in Tenn. that week.
Dorothy was a wonderful caring person. We loved her pies and rum cake when she would bring them to the church pot lucks. She even gave me (dick) a rum cake for my 70th birthday.

Dorothy would "baby-sit" myself and my brother when we were kids. Made the best chicken soup. What a good lady. What a full life. My condolences.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Dorothy. She was one of the most kind-hearted ladies I have ever met. She and my grandfather "dated" for almost 15 years and once my grandfather passed away I was emotionally unable to bring myself to keep in touch with Dorothy. My family and I were just talking about Dorothy last week and I had decided I needed to get in contact with her and put it off. Now I'm too late. Another lesson in life- "Never put off until tomorrow what you can do today." RIP Dorothy - I love you!!

Dorothy was such a kind, gentle, special and friendly lady...always with a smile and didn't know a stranger. We will miss the many trips and church adventures we had with her over the years. Condolences to all on your loss.

I didn't get to really know Aunt Dorothy until I was married and had our son. I enjoyed her laugh and smile. She always was very positive and a great person to be around. I enjoyed visiting her and hearing about the great purchases she made at garage sales. Our son enjoyed her and of course her chocolate pie. She was a person that I admired, as she enjoyed life and her family.
