Flora "Peggy" Bennett

LANCASTER: Flora "Peggy" Bennett 92 of Lancaster, Ohio died Monday, February 3, 2014 at Fairfield Medical Center.

She was a member of Faith Memorial Church, life member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary and F.O.E. Ladies Auxiliary in Xenia, Ohio and also a member of Loyal Order of Moose in Lancaster.

Peggy is survived by her nieces and nephews, Charlene Denny, William H. (Shirley) Green, Sharon (Danny) McFarland, Lee (David) Brewer, Patty McCoy, Ericka (Bill) Holt all of Xenia, Ohio, Paul Greene of PA, and Charles (Mary) Greene of KY; great niece, April Smith and friend, Denny Rawlins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Bennett, parents, Charles and Mattie Spurgeon, sisters and brothers.

Funeral service will be held Monday, February 10, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. in the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME CHAPEL, 405 N. COLUMBUS ST., LANCASTER, OHIO 43130 with Pastor Mel Truex officiating. Burial to follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens. Friends may visit 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

miss peggy was a pistol with a heart of gold.she will be missed greatly by her neighbors of 15 years jerry and vicky R.I.P MY FRIEND AND NEIGHBOR.hope they have penny slot machines in heaven!!!
