Gregory Woltz Obituary
NEWARK - Gregory Allen Woltz, 66, of Newark and Lancaster, passed away with his loving family by his side on Wednesday, October 31, 2018.
Greg loved and celebrated life on a daily basis, whether listening to his favorite band, The Beatles, or letting his loved ones know how much he cared by never failing to say, "I love you." A social butterfly, Greg's affection for others was always on display. Though always sweet and kind, Greg was also an ornery spirit who loved to be teased; his laughter in these moments was thoroughly contagious to those around him.
Greg is survived by his sister, Michelle Woltz; nieces and nephews, Kevin (Morgan) Woltz, Jr., Dawn (Brian) Merritt, Deana (Mark) Bebout, Stephen Woltz, Shawn Woltz, Tommy Wright III, and Olivia Leal; and many great nieces and great nephews.
Greg was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Imogene Woltz; and brother, Kevin Woltz, Sr.
Funeral service for Greg will be held at 1:30 pm Wednesday at the FRANK E. SMITH FUNERAL HOME, 405 N. Columbus St, Lancaster, Ohio 43130. Burial will follow in Floral Hills Memory Gardens, Lancaster. Family and friends may visit from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm Wednesday at the funeral home.
Donations may be made in memory for Greg to the Down Syndrome Association of Central Ohio, 510 E. North Broadway, Columbus, Ohio 43214. Online condolences can be made at www.funeralhome.com
