Rose Romano Obituary
Lancaster - Rose Ann (Sullivan) Romano age 86 of Lancaster passed away peacefully Thursday, March 8th, 2018 at Carriage Court of Lancaster, with family at her side. Born in Lancaster, Ohio October 9th, 1931 to Thomas and Mary Pauline (Hedges) Sullivan, she worked for many years as mother and homemaker for her family, before retiring from Big Bear Stores after many more years of service to countless friends and customers in the Bakery.
Her legacy lives on through six children; Armand Jr. (Robin) Romano of Lancaster, Gregory Romano of Phoenix, AZ, Anne (Randy) Weissfeld of Akron, OH, Kathleen (Mike) Connell, Geoffrey (Kathy) Romano and John Romano, all of Lancaster. She was affectionately known as Appy Rose by her 16 surviving grandchildren; Justin, Ashleigh, Megan, Armand III, Nicholas, Laura, Ted, Ellen, Erin, Andy, Greg Tom, Riley, Michael, Mary, Leva, Isabelle and 25 great grandchildren. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers; Neil, Gene and Pat Sullivan and sisters Virginia Sears and Margaret Blodgett.
Cremation has been arranged in the care of Sheridan Funeral Home. The family would like to thank Doctors Alley & Reinig, AlternaCare, Carriage Court of Lancaster and FairHoPe Hospice for the loving care given by them in helping their mother through her final journey. The family suggests a memorial donation to either The Fisher Catholic Foundation or FairHoPe Hospice as a tribute to Rose Ann.

I will always remember your mom as the study hall monitor and Cafeteria lady during my school years. She was a dear woman the obviously worked very hart to help here children.
