Amanda Gayle Barnes Rust, 38, of New Haven went to be with her heavenly Father Thursday September 9, 2021 at Nortons Brownsboro Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, and sister.
She was a member of Rolling Fork Christian Church, She was school Teacher for the Cox's Creek Elementary with the Nelson County School System.
She was born October 13, 1982 at Baptist East to Floyd Wayne and Patricia Marie Florence Barnes.
She is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, B.W. and Gladys Crady Florence and her paternal grandparents, Robert and Nancy Fisher Barnes.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, of 15 years, Gregory Scott Rust of New Haven, one son, Camden Jase Rust, two daughters, Harper Kinleigh Rust and Hadley Caroline Rust, one brother, Michael (Erin) Rust of New Haven, one nephew, Dalton Barnes, and one niece, Macey Barnes, several cousins and friends.
Funeral services for Amanda Gayle Barnes Rust will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, September 13, 2021, at Rolling Fork Christian Church with Brother Tim Underhill and Brother Casey Clark officiating, with burial to follow in the River View Cemetery in New Haven.
Visitation for Amanda Gayle Barnes Rust will be held Sunday September 12, 2021 from 3 to 8 p.m. at the Rolling Fork Christian Church and will continue after 9 a.m. on Monday at the church until time of service.
