News Death Notice
BOLDMAN, Alene "Peachie" age 72, of Springfield passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 26, 1941 in Charlie, Kentucky to the late Mitchell and Gladys (Lemaster) Bayes. In addition to her parents, Peachie is preceded in death by her son Scott Boldman; a brother, Ochel Bayes and a sister Birdie Cook. She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Shannon R. Boldman; a son Tim Boldman; a daughter Nikki Boldman; a brother, Mark (Sue) Bayes; sisters, Anna (Russell) Mossbarger and Lou (Dave) Estep; a daughter-in-law, Joanne Boldman; grandchildren: Rachel Delarue, Tyler Boldman and Cameron Miller; great-grandchildren: Ashton and Mikayla Delarue. Peachie was a member of Springfield's City Beautification Committee, where she was honored with 2 Home of the Week, 1 Home of the Year, and 1 Adopted flowerbed awards. She was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Springfield. Peachie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and will be sadly missed by all those who knew her. A visitation will be held on Monday, June 3, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until funeral services begin at 1:00 p.m. at JACKSON LYTLE & LEWIS LIFE CELEBRATION CENTER, with Pastor Mark Rucker officiating. Burial to follow at Rose Hill Burial Park. Condolences may be forwarded to the family by visiting www.jacksonlytle.com

We have been friends with the Boldman family for 40+ years. We had some wonderful visits and trips with Peachie and Shannon. We will miss all those and the wonderful cups of coffee Peachy always offered us. We will miss her laugh and the talks over coffee, but we know that our loss is heaven's gain. Deepest sympathy goes out to her family
