Alexander Frankenberg Obituary

Frankenberg, Alexander G. left this world on February 28, 2002. He was born in Bisbee, Arizona in 1916, but lived most of his life in Los Angeles.
He served in the United States Army during the Second World War and was called upon again to serve in Korea during the Korean War. He continued his military service as a member of the National Guard, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel. During this same period he went to work for the Los Angeles City and later County Health Departments as a Sanitation Engineer specializing in water quality. In 1942 he married Henrietta Ginsburg, a marriage which lasted over 45 years until her death in 1989. He is survived by his son Scott Frankenberg; sister Carlyn Sinclair; cousins Bobbe Frankenberg and Maynard Franklin, good, good friends George Bagnall and Stanley Broffman and his wonderful caregivers Larry and Ed. Al will be remembered fondly. He died at home supported by his family friends and Hospice. He was ready.
