We will miss you Al!
Thanks to you many of your students have gone on to careers in the arts and teaching. You were a great teacher. I wanted to be a teacher like you and today I am doing just that.

Mr. Pine was one of my very best teachers. I treasured his classes. He would always remind me to take good care of my tools and would always check what books I was reading and we always had great inspirational projects to teach us about preparing for life.
I was in his jewelry and crafts classes at Long Beach State in the late 60's. I just read about his passing today in the newspaper. i didn't know he lived in Santa Rosa. My heart is with his family. I am so grateful I had him as a teacher. He was a fantastic teacher!
