Corinne Ruth Krisel

January 7, 1933 - December 5, 2022 Corinne Ruth Krisel died on December 5, 2022, surrounded by her family at home in Beverly Hills, after a long illness. A second-generation Angeleno, Corinne Jaffee was born on January 7, 1933, and died just short of her 90th birthday. Corinne was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, architect William Krisel. She is survived by her sister, Marsha Massa; her son Bill (Patricia) of Paris, France and daughter Michelle (Paul) of Washington, DC; six grandchildren: Claire, Paul, and Isaac Wasserman, and Alexis, Rebecca, and Laëtitia Krisel; and one great grandson Ezra White. Corinne was beloved by her children and grandchildren to whom she was devoted. She was active in the early days of Los Angeles in the promotion of modern architecture, classical music, and women's volunteerism. A memorial service will be private. Her heart was strong to the end.
