David Grover Obituary
Born June 24, 1925. Passed away May 25, 2005 at home surrounded by his loving family after a courageous battle with cancer and emphysema. He is survived by his wife Hazel of 55 years; sons Clive and Christopher; granddaughter Christy and great grandchildren Jeremy and Jessica, also one brother and two sisters. David was born in London England served in the British Royal Navy and was a commissioned officer. He operated TLC's and landed hundreds of British and American Troops on Utah Beach during the "D Day Invasion." He lost his ship in Italy but survived. Honoring his request for no funeral Neptune Society will scatter his ashes at sea. In lieu of flowers, the family with thanks requests contributions made to the most wonderful care and love given by Vitas Hospice. Vitas Foundation 16030 Ventura Blvd., Suite 600 Encino, CA 91436.
