11 years have passed and I still think of you daily but now I smile remembering happy times we shared and all you taught me. I will remember you as long as my memory lasts.

I can't believe you've been gone a year already. I still find myself picking up the phone to call and tell you about something that's happened in my life, some new milestone I've reached or someone I've met... then I remember I don't need to, you already know and I smile and hope you're smiling, too. I will miss you all my life David, but I'm so grateful for the time I had with you and all you taught me without saying a word.

Ezrah Pike, a.k.a. David Pizzuto. I just found out he died. Quite an accomplished career, I wondered where he vanished. I am glad to know he did so well in life.

I have just learned of your passing tonight. You were a guiding light through some very dark times, always encouraging, telling me that there wasn't anything I couldn't do if I truly believed. I would give anything to hear your voice sharing just one more "Davidism" I always thought there would be more time...

Although I had not seen Ezra in many years, I remember him as a unique and talented spirit... always so much fun to be around. Rest in peace. May the wonderful memories your friends and family have sustain them in their grief and comfort them.

I know you're gone. But I can't wrap my head around it. My crazy weird tenant that I had the pleasure of chatting with about cars, video games, computers... Nerdy stuff.
