Eric Weitzman Obituary

WEITZMAN , Eric Scott
Hollywood, California - Eric Weitzman died December 31, 2006, in a traffic accident in Cape Town, South Africa while on a motorcycle tour with friends. Eric was born March 14, 1970, in the Bronx at Jacobi Hospital to Stephen Allan Weitzman and Arlene Seena Weitz man (Beck). They moved to Columbia, MD in 1972. At the age of 19 Eric decided that California was where he wanted to live and prosper. From there he did everything on his own. He is survived by his parents (Columbia, MD), sister Amy Beth Weitzman (34, Hollywood), and Mitchell Ian Weitzman (37, Columbia, MD) and his numerous friends and business partners, particularly Reg McDonald, Alan Nathan, and Rick Calamaro.
Services will be at Mt. Sinai Cemetery, Hollywood Hills, today, Friday January 5, at 12:00. A reception will follow at Eric's home in Hollywood Hills. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions be made to the Hollywood Museum or Historical Society or your favorite charity in Eric's name.
