I still miss you and think of you so often. I wish I knew then what I know now; the fascinating discussions we´d have had!
Love to Michael and Pam.

It is now 2016, and I still find it hard to believe that my Uncle Hal is gone. Larger than life - always - he will live in my heart forever.

I have nothing but fond memories of Hal in my early years from London. He and Chrissy will always be in my heart.

I would like to put on record Hal's kindness to and love of Vera Gillett (Christine's Mum). He promised Christine that he would look after her mother and he certainly did. Always larger than life but always loyal. Thank you Hal for keeping your promise. RIP xx Sandy Sell (nee Gillett) Bognor Regis, Sussex

Never to be forgotten, with happy memories, the larger than life character of Hal. Sincere thanks for the loyalty you showed to Aunty Vee (mother of Christine Gillett).

What a character cousin Hal was. It is sad to think of the loss of a whole generation of Skolnik men. Rest in peace, Hal.

I'll always remember the monotony of weekends being broken with a "cousin Hal's in town", followed by the requisite trip to Ratner's. What a character he was.

I find no words to express my sorrow for the loss of uncle Hal. I remember him as a person with genuine integrity. May his soul rest in peace.
