Craig Skolnik Obituary

Craig graduated from Rogers High School in Toledo in the class of 1989. He was employed as a quality technician for 15 years with Toledo Machine and Die and later Worthington Steel. Most recently, Craig worked for Hillsdale Hospital in the environmental services department. He passionately studied free energy through solar and wind technologies, even creating his own solar power system at his home. Craig's beloved Goffin cockatoo, Susan, was his longtime friend and companion.
Survivors include his father, Joseph Skolnik of Youngstown, Ohio; one brother, Brian (Heather) Skolnik of Napoleon, Ohio; one sister, Dawn (Jerry) Neisen of Kaukauna, Wisconsin; and four nieces and nephews, William Melcher, Joseph Melcher, Keegan Skolnik, and Kyrstin Skolnik.
Craig was preceded in death by his mother, Darlene Skolnik.
At his request, there will be no services at this time and a private family celebration of life for Craig Skolnik will be held at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to the VanHorn-Eagle Funeral Home in Hillsdale.
Memorial contributions are suggested to a charity of the donor's choice.

Craig was always smiling and laughing, I enjoyed his company, sense of humor and sharp wit, we shared many stories about growing up in Toledo, he was kind and smart and I will miss him
