Howard Stark Obituary

1928 - 2017 Born in the Bronx, New York and moved with his family to Beverly Hills in 1968. He passed away on June 15th at 3:00 PM at Cedars Sinai Medical Center following surgery. At 6:00 PM EST, 60 years ago on this day and time, he and his wife Rochelle (Shelley) were married at Temple Israel in White Plains, New York. This was to have been their 60th wedding anniversary. In 1946 he joined the United States Navy and served on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Randolph. In 1962 this was the recovery ship for John Glenn. Upon his discharge 2 years later, he entered New York University and graduated with a BA degree. Besides leaving his beloved wife Shelley, he leaves his son Lloyd Stark (Rhonda), daughter Randie Stark (Ben Spira), two granddaughters Lily and Ava, and his devoted sister-in-law Lisa Mottola and her two children. His entire business career was varied in the field of entertainment. He had 50 fun filled years making lots of friends and meeting lots of people in the music business. He continued these relationships after his retirement. Services will be held at Pierce Brothers Westwood Village Memorial Park & Mortuary on June 22, 2017 at 11:00am.
