James Daglas

DAGLAS, James (75), passed away Thursday, July 17, 2008, at his home in Porter Ranch, California. He was surrounded by his loving family. Jim is survived by his wife, Dina, and two sons, Harry and John. Harry Daglas is married to wife Cathy with two children James William and Deanna Marie. John Daglas is married to wife Lisa with two children John James and Dina Frances. He is also survived by his brother Chris Daglas his wife Alice, and sister Christine Foutris. James Daglas was born in the village of Pallantio, near Tripolis, Greece on January 18, 1933. He traveled to the United States in June 1951. Jim worked his way up in the restaurant business and opened up his first Coffee Shop Restaurant in the San Fernando Valley in 1957. He went back to Greece in 1959 and married his wife Dina and they returned to the United States. Jim's entrepreneurship in the restaurant business continued throughout his life. Jim loved life, was very active, and loved to travel. He especially enjoyed the company of his friends and family. Jim loved golf and became an avid golfer in the later half of his life. He had many friends at Porter Valley Country Club in Porter Ranch, and the Lakes Country Club in Palm Desert.
