Kenneth Rubin Obituary

November 26, 1921 - October 21, 2018 Kenneth S. Rubin DDS passed away at age of 96 in Los Angeles on October 21, 2018. He grew up in the Miracle Mile area and received his BA from UCLA. During World War II, Kenneth served as a photographer in the US Army Air Corps. He graduated from USC Dental School in 1950 and worked as a dentist for over 55 years. After retiring, he loved volunteering as a docent at the Petersen Automotive Museum. Kenneth had just celebrated 70 years together with his beloved wife Shirley (nee Linder), and is also survived by their three children: Lynn, Ed (Sam), and Julie (Kerry). He will be deeply missed. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, November 5th at Hollywood Forever Cemetery, 6000 Santa Monica Blvd., Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Rubin was our family dentist for many years, beginning at his office on Imperial Hwy, where we could walk two blocks to his office and later in Westchester. He was always kind, pleasant, professional and skillful. An amazing life!
