The memories to this amazing loving funny and talented man are vast and forever lasting inside me - Lou and Jay and Erika - a team that I was introduced to in 1994 - and it was my first job at a Natpe convention in New Orleans - what a great moment meeting these 3 people who then became friends for many years - my wedding took place on their beautiful property in Tarzana - that says it all - anyway - I have such great memories - so many laughters surround these thoughts and Lou - you have accomplished something that not many people do: You touched many many hearts ♥ in this world !!!! Rest In Peace my dear friend ! Sabine

Thank you for so many wonderful years, Lou! I arrived at the studio looking for a job, pushing my baby in a stroller because I didn't have a car. I looked so unprofessional walking in with a baby in the stroller and just wearing jeans and a sweatshirt, but I wasn't planning to interview that day. I thought I'd just grab an application and be on my way. How shocked I was that you wanted to see me right away! I protested because of the way I looked, but you didn't care about any of that. You interviewed me right on the spot, and I started the next day! Best job of my life working for you, Norm and Arthur. Thank you, Lou! (And my baby is now 42 years old!) I can't believe it's been six years since this wonderfully talented gentleman, Lou Scheimer, departed from this life after many years of producing quality children's programming throughout the 1960s to the 1980s. Anytime a show that he along with Hal Sutherland and Norm Prescott produced, whether it aired on either ABC, CBS, NBC or in syndication, I couldn't wait to watch it. Thank you, Lou for making Saturday mornings worth looking forward to and continue to rest in paradise.

Lou was the best cousin in my youth. Every Saturday until he was about 16 My grandfather and I went to his family store across from Westinghouse High School. My grandfather helped with the store's books and I got to read the comic books Lou had in great supply! Later he introduced me to my husband, Lou's best friend, and I later introduced him to his love, Jay. Lots of great memories and much love now sorely missed.

Thank you for He-Man, Jason of Star Command and Zorro. Children's show from 80's were really cool thanks to You and Your friends. Young people could learn about things which are necessary in life - friendship, devotion, overcoming weaknesses. There was no violence nor nasty behaviour. I wish all children's programs will be like Filmation's productions.
It was nice to watch these with my parents and sister. They were so positive and gave us so much joy.
Rest in peace, Lou. I hope God will reward You your hard work - Work of making childern's television in very cruel world.

I never met him, but by all accounts, he was a wonderful man. He positively influenced so many of us. Not only did he create wonderful cartoons, but he tried to instill good morals and values in children, something that is woefully lacking in children's products today. He cared about his employees, cared about keeping people working, and cared about the youth of the world. Lou's MotU universe was a huge part of my childhood and I continue to thoroughly enjoy it today.
Thank you for everything, Lou. Your influence will never be forgotten.

It is quite sad when a legend dies. A legend is a hero that impacts the world in a positive manner.
