Marsha King Obituary

On February 7, 2024, Marsha (Ullman) King passed away peacefully in Los Angeles, CA at the age of eighty-three. Marsha was the wife of the late Robert King, the daughter of Hy and Pauline Ullman, sister of Lawry (Ann) Ullman and Sherry (Norm) Crakow, and sister-in-law of Stan (Dianne) King. She graduated from Westchester High School in Los Angeles – Go Comets! - and began working for Dr. Fred Ilfeld shortly thereafter in what was supposed to be a temporary position lasting a few months. That didn't quite work out as planned, since she ended up staying there for 58 years. Marsha is survived by her son Mitch and his wife Robin, her daughter Sari (aka Bossy) and her husband Tony, her nieces and nephews Karen, Erin, Joseph, Debbie, Miles, Jennifer and Ilene, and is the much loved Grandma/OB to four grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Alex and Andy.

Marsha was universally loved and cherished by all who knew her. She had an engaging personality and quick - and at times sharp - wit, was kind and considerate, and had a wonderfully vibrant and always busy social life. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with family and friends, followed closely by dispensing a wide range of sometimes solicited medical advice to anyone and everyone in her free time.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marsha's name to The J.F. Shea Therapeutic Riding Center https://www.sheacenter.org and With Hope, the Amber Craig Memorial Foundation https://www.withhopefoundation.org/.

Marsha had an uncanny ability of knowing just what to say, and how to say it at just the right time, it was a marvel to see and hear. She has been an great presence in my life that won´t ever be forgotten, always very supportive in so many ways she could make you feel wonderful
about the smallest things in life, I will miss her greatly, a wonderful Aunt and in general, an amazing person.

I have so many happy memories of being with Marsha and Rob and Mitch and Sari. Marsha introduced us to Tito's Tacos and once during trying times came to visit wearing a sombrero. She had love and care and laughter for everyone and I will always remember her with love. Lynn Goldner
