Michael Massman Obituary

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michael Bradley Massman, who died peacefully at his home in Malibu on April 7, 2025, just one day after his 55th birthday. Born on April 6, 1970, in Los Angeles, California, Michael was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, and stepfather, who touched the lives of everyone around him with his kindness, humor, and unwavering love.

Michael is survived by his loving wife, Alexa, his cherished children, Jane and Mack, and his beloved stepchildren, Basil and Sunny. He was the son of Stephen Massman and Patti Neuwirth and older brother to Brent Massman. Michael's commitment to his family was evident in the strength of the relationships he nurtured, both with his biological children and his stepchildren, whom he embraced with love and devotion.

Michael will be remembered for his gentle spirit, caring nature and the boundless love he shared with his family and friends. He found joy in the little things-whether it was a family gathering, a quiet evening at home, or supporting his loved ones through life's challenges. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

A memorial service will be held on April 11, 2025, at Hillside at 10:00 AM.

Michael's memory will forever remain in the hearts of his family and all who were fortunate enough to know him.

I just happened to google Mike as I like to about old friends from childhood. Knew he & Brett from Vail Colorado when we were young kids. I´m sorry to hear but encouraged by reading about him in comments and his impact on those closest to him.

Mike had a beautiful meditation he shared with me - Smiley meditation. I smile thinking of it. He taught me to have gratitude while breathing and smiling at each organ thanking it for doing its job. May you be in Peace, Mike.
