Michael Morse Obituary

April 7, 1946 - January 29, 2018 Michael (Mike) James Morse, age 71, died on Jan. 29, 2018, at his home in West Los Angeles. Born April 7, 1946, Mike was a popular and beloved college professor at East LA College touching the lives of all that knew him. A graduate of San Fernando Valley State College he earned a Bachelor's degree in mathematics and Master's degree in Euclidean Geometry. He was a member of the ZBT fraternity. He served in the Peace Corps for two years in the Philippines. Mike was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Sallie Morse, and is survived by his children, Adam and his wife Erin, and Jennifer and her husband Jon; grandchildren, Jacob, Avery and Eli; and brother Stephen Morse. A funeral service will be held at 2 pm, Friday, Feb. 2, at Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery, 5950 Forest Lawn Dr., Los Angeles, CA 90068. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to The Michael J. Fox Foundation. Help celebrate Mike's life on the tribute page of The Michael J.
