Muriel Peregoff Obituary

December 30, 1935 - January 12, 2019 Muriel, born shortly before New Year's, December 30, 1935, left this world shortly after New Year's, January 12, 2019. Dear Muriel had a life of emotional and physical challenges, but lived it with courage, strength, love of life, and a strong belief in G-d, that HE will be helping her to survive. She lived in San Mateo, CA. for many years. Fran, her best friend, made her feel she was part of her loving family. During the time she lived up North, her sister, Gerrie Wormser, visited many times, to make sure her life was as comfortable as possible. About seven years ago, after a serious accident, Muriel was brought to LA, and after an extensive and serious operation, she was ready to become a resident at the LA Jewish Home for the Aging. She started a new life, new friends, with volunteer Shirley, and a continuous devoted relationship with her sister, her niece Robin, her great-niece Casey, her great-great-nephew Menachem Mendel and great-great-niece Rivka Alta. Graveside services were held at Mount Sinai Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills on January 14, 2019. Muriel's wish, donations, to JHA John Levi account to help the residents.

Muriel was a joy to know & spend time with. She was a tablemate at our Mom's table at JEK, and we always enjoyed having conversations with her; she was fun to talk to, always so sweet & kind. We miss her and sorry for her loss. Deepest condolences to her family, may her memory always be for a blessing.
