Norman Greenbaum Obituary

December 11, 1937 - February 19, 2015 Born in Los Angeles to Hyman & Betty Greenbaum. Norm grew up in Los Angeles where he attended Louis Pasteur Junior High & Hamilton High Schools. Norm lettered in baseball & reigned as All-City First Team shortstop for the entire L. A. City School District, earning a scholarship at Cal Poly & then at Pepperdine University where he starred for 3 years. Later, working as an Advertising Sales Executive for Pacific Telephone, he was awarded the coveted "Sammy" award as top salesman for the Yellow Pages. He later worked as a stock broker & then went on to become Director of the Beverly Hills Chamber of Commerce. Norm leaves his loving wife, Carolyn, Sons Mark & Brad & Step-children, Lynda, Bill & Pamela. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made "In Memory of Norman Greenbaum" to the Friendship Center: 89 Eucalyptus Ln, Santa Barbara, CA 93108.

My name is Ron silverman.so sorry to hear of norms passing.norm and I were teammates on the baseball team at hami high in 1955-1956. We were also in the social club, the Argonauts. Norm was a great player and teammate.
I am sorry we never met during all these years.
I will enclose email and would love to hear from mrs. Green sum.

MY NAME IS RON SILVERMAN. SORRY TO HAVE SEEN OF THE PASSING OF NORM, WHOM I PLAYED BASEBALL WITH AT HAMILTON HIGH SCHOOL IN 1955 -1956 WE HAD MANY WONDERFUL TIMES TOGETHER IN OUR BASEBALL EXPERIENCES, BUT ALSO BELONGING TO THE SOCIAL CLUB, THE ARGONAUTS.
I AM ONLY SORRY THAT I DID NOT CONTACT NORM DURING THESE MANY YEARS.

I knew Norm when I was close friends with his Brother, Steve, in the mid 50s and 60s. Sorry to see that he has passed.My condolences to the family.
