Phoebe Dee Obituary

DEE, Phoebe "Peggy" Phoebe "Peggy" Dee was born on Nov. 28, 1933 in Chicago, IL, the daughter of William and Leah Norian. In 1953 the family moved to Los Angeles where she met and married Roger Dee on Dec. 29, 1956. They had two children, Lisa Dee and Vicki Dee Rock and three grandchildren, Geoffrey, Charlie and Leah Rock all of Los Angeles. From 1976 - 1986 the Dees lived in New York City and traveled abroad extensively. Peggy was known for her sharp wit, infectious humor, and sense of style, and was much beloved by her friends and family. In addition to the love she had for her friends and family, Peggy deeply loved all her dogs. She is survived by her husband, Roger Dee, her children and grandchildren, her son-in-law, David Rock and her beloved sister Julia Kling of Champaign, Illinois. Services will be held at Hillside Memorial Park and Mortuary on Friday, Nov. 9, 2007 at 12 noon. Those wishing to make donations in her memory donations can be made to the Bill Foundation Dog Rescue or the Willows Community School.
