R. Dahl Obituary

April 27, 1919 - May 17, 2017 Margaret Dahl passed away peacefully on May 17, 2017 at Atria Hacienda, Palm Desert, CA. Margaret was born on April 27, 1919 in College View-Lincoln, Nebraska, and raised in Greeley, Colorado. She was a Graduate Dental Hygienist of the University of Minnesota and later became a licensed Residential Real Estate Broker with an award-winning career, associated with Coldwell Banker in Los Angeles. Margaret was affiliated with Alpha Kappa Gamma sorority, serving as National President for two years. She served on the following Boards: National Charity League - Coronet Debutante Ball, ARCS Foundation and the Doheny Eye Institute. Margaret's late husband, Dr. Philip Owen Dahl, a DDS for fifty-one years, passed away in 1998. They enjoyed many years of golf at the Los Angeles Country Club and the beach at Bel-Air Bay Club. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Mary Randall and her sons-in-law, Harry Greenwood and Nelson Cole. She was predeceased by her husband, daughter, Jean Cole, and her granddaughter, Allison Randall. Margaret had two sisters, Lucille McWilliams and Helen Probert. She also had 3 grandchildren, Ashley, Travis and Devon, and one great-grandson, James Cole. In her last years, Margaret resided in Dorado Villas, Indian Wells, CA. She was a member of the Eldorado CC and Marrakesh Country Club.
