My deepest sympathy to Steve's family. I was a school chum of Steve back when we were at Daniel Webster Junior High, and Venice High. For a couple of years he invited me over for sleep-overs at his parents place near Palms and Grandview. I lived around the corner on Lawler St. We were 14, 15 years old. We must have met in the school band, since we both ended up in the Crescendos at Venice High. Steve was a kind and thoughtful person. I always enjoyed his company and his father was a kick. I was surprised to learn of his illness and recent passing. Just seems like we were kids. Steve was a good person, and I know how much you all will miss him.
