~ Ella was a positive role model and a source of positive encouragement to others. She advised my daughter and many other youth to always do their best, work and study hard in pursuit of educational and other life goals,
~ May Ella enjoy Divine Eternal Grace as she takes her place among the Ancestors.

Ella and I were friends over 60 years, having met in college at Fisk University and shared many life long experiences since that time. I was distressed when we lost contact recently through our usual phone calls and email, and could not find anyone to tell me what had happened to my best friend. It is comforting to know that she is resting in peace in the bosom of the Lord. Ella was one in a million. She was brilliant and warm. I will always cherish our friendship.

My favorite memory of Ella is when we arrived just in time to hear the last note of an Amad Jamal jazz concert. She will be missed.

Ella were an amazing woman with a remarkable life. I blessed that I got to know her even though it was under the circumstance of her business as a CEO of the funeral home. Through the generations of Morris's they were their for my family. Her kindness and love she had for families will be missed. R.I.P.
