LAURINBURG — Joel "Mitchell" Mishue, age 60 of Laurinburg passed away Oct. 22, 2014 at Scotland Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at the Turning Point Worship Center, officiated by the Rev. Stoney Locklear. Burial will follow in Blue Family Cemetery.
Mitchell was born March 25, 1954 in Robeson County, son of the late Vardell Mishue and Clarline Rowell Mishue Johnson. He was self employed in sheet rock construction. He served as a member of Turning Point Worship Center, loved visiting with others and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Tammy Rogers Mishue of the home; sons, Mitchell Junior Mishue and wife Wenona of Wagram, Adam Mishue and wife Stephanie of Wagram; four brothers, J.V. Mishue and Paul Mishue both of Alabama, Ben Mishue and Ricky Mishue both of Laurinburg; a sister, Patty Faye Locklear of Wagram; ten grandchildren, one great-grandchild and a host of family and friends.
Visitation will be from 2-3 p.m. prior to the service on Sunday at the Turning Point Worship Center, 16433 US Hwy 15-501, Aberdeen.
Services entrusted to Richard Boles Funeral Service.
