Mr. and Mrs. Cromartie, Dwight, and Jamesia, Faye and their children,
We are deeply saddened by your loss. He was only 8 or 9 when I moved away but I remember the Cromartie Family. We use to keep so much noise on that corner by their house and would see the curtains open and close. We knew who was peeping out on us. The Cromartie's never complained, so we made sure our group never hung around too late. We thank you for allowing us to be teenagers and raising your family to love and respect others.
I know as the days turn into nights, Wayne's memories will keep you. May the LORD Comfort you during this time.

I continue to be filled with deep sadness by the passing of Mr. Wayne Cromartie. Having known his immediate family for well over four decades, I can speak confidently of the wonderful background, culture and environment in which he was reared. I taught his older sister and brother------both of whom were truly gifted students. I was also honored to have worked closely with his wonderful wife and fine Mother during my tenure in Scotland County School System. I felt as though knew Wayne very well through the various interactions I had with these two outstanding professional women. Their collective love for him was unwavering.
I want the family to know that I am deeply, deeply sorry for your loss. I also pray that you will lean on our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for peace and comfort during what now must be a very difficult period in your lives. Please know that His grace is sufficient in helping us to overcome whatever sorrows and burdens we are carrying.
Peace and love to all of you.
