Frank Webb Obituary

Frank Webb Frank Ray Webb was born May 18, 1949 in Long Beach. After a brave battle with pancreatic cancer, Frank passed away peacefully on June 17 at his home surrounded by his closest family and friends. Frank was an irrepressible optimist who brought passion, purpose, and kindness to everyday and everyone. Frank was a dedicated father and husband, an award winning architect deeply involved in the community, and a man loved by all. He founded Team FWA, a commercial architecture firm, in 1990. Frank was a longtime member and recently served as president of the Los Angeles Tennis Club. He was also appointed to and served on the Park Mile Design Review Board for the City of Los Angeles and the Windsor Square Association. Frank was the consummate sports fan, tirelessly supporting his beloved University of Oregon Ducks ('72) and Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits ('67). He loved playing tennis, tending to his rose garden, and spending weekends with his wife, Lynn, at the movies and tennis club. Frank was a gentleman and a scholar, who captivated and connected with integrity and warmth. Frank will be most remembered as a devoted husband to his ever adoring wife, Lynn and as a father to sons, Chris, Preston, and Alex. Frank is survived by his siblings, Nancy (Coleman) Doggett, Reed (Mary Ann) Webb and Marge (Tom) Holleman, half-brothers, Edward and Bruce and many nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 21 at Hillside Memorial Park, 6001 West Centinela Avenue, Los Angeles, CA 90045. (310) 641-0707.
