Mike was a wonderful friend who left this world much too soon. We had fun together double dating and in class, particularly Mr. Caesar's Public Speaking class. His dedication to our Class of 1963 and to Wilson High in general and reaching his goals at Stanford and USC Law School truly shows how he strove for excellence in all that he did. He had a wonderful sense of humor and he never met a stranger. He was especially nice to my younger brother, Steve Nott, who was in the Class of 1965 at Wilson. Mike's life would also come across my older brother, Mike Nott, who was President of the Long Beach Bar Association, later Superior Court Judge and then Appelate Judge under the California Supreme Court. Both Mikes got their law degrees from USC and both Mikes would end up dying from Parkinson's and brother Steve from MS.

Truly one of the finest and most fun persons I have known in my life. Mike was sincere in the interest he showed in your life, mainly because he was so full of life himself. He had a keen sense of humor and I can still hear his laugh in my memory after all of these years. To know that he got his law degree at USC, as did my older brother, also named Mike (Nott) and that my Mike died almost a year earlier than Nish, also from Parkinson's, was a hard parallel for me to accept, though both are now in heaven holding court. Loved you, Mike, and fond wishes to Karen and family.
