Roderick Scott Steiner
December 9, 1958 - July 20, 2012
Scott passed away of a heart attack Friday July 20th surrounded by his mother Nancy, his daughter Ashlie, brother Bill, neice Brielle and friend Marilyn. He was 53 years old. Scott grew up in Covina, California and attended Charter Oak Schools.
He was a landscaping contractor and truck driver in his later life. He was married to a wonderful woman named Sherri and they had two beautiful children Michele and Ashlie. He was so proud of his country estate. He loved the buildings, pepper trees, the animals that lived on his land and the fact that he was surrounded by nature. He loved to sing country music and to dance. There was an abundance of love, laughter and fun in his life.
Scott loved his family and friends with all his heart. He is survived by his two daughters, Michele and Ashlie, his mother Nancy, father Gene, sister Susie, brother Bill, his grandchildren Gavin, Stirling, Jaden and soon to be born Chloe, niece Brielle, nephew Kyle as well as his dear friends Randy, Sherri, Tesia and Marilyn.
We invite all family and friends to attend a memorial service for Scott to be held on Monday, July 30, 2012 at 3:00pm at Calvary Chapel Bible Fellowship, 34180 Rancho California Rd., Temecula, CA 92591 as well as a reception to follow memorial service at South Coast Winery Resort and Spa located at 34843 Rancho California Rd., Temecula, CA 92591.

Hello Iam scotts long love companion of 13+ years and he proposed to me in 2007. We loved each very much. He was the most beautiful man I have known. The most sensitive and caring person ever. I loved to cook for him, oh how he loved good dinners. He would tell he's Mother, Mom, she's cooking me a gourmet dish. It might of been just goulash, but whatever he was appreciative. I miss him so much. And I pray for his mother and Dad, Bill Susie. And his two beautfuI daughters, Michele and Ashlie, I know they miss him sooo much. I love you Scott,.Love Tesia

Scott was our policy holder and friend here at State Farm insurance. We are so sorry to hear of this loss. I had several conversations with Scott, when he would call to make a payment. He was such a joy to speak with. He talked about his love for Christ, family and his friends. Such a love for life and inspiration. He will be missed! I am very saddened to hear of Scott's passing and my prayers go out to his whole family. Scott was a wonderful person and was always upbeat about life and his family. I met Scott at work and enjoyed our talks and his bigger than life smile. RIP Scott.

HI, THIS IS GEORGE AND PEGGY HABER, WE MET SCOTT A FEW YEARS AGO AND IT WAS MEANT TO BE WHEN WE MET. HE WAS A WONDERFUL MAN AND HAD ALOT OF JOY AND INTEGRITY..HE WAS FUN TO BE AROUND..ALWAYS LAUGHING AND HAPPY! WE SPOKE ON MANY OCCASIONS ABOUT OUR LORD AND SAVIOR JESUS CHRIST..THEN CALVARY CHAPEL.. SCOTT CAME TO OUR HOME IN CARLSBAD AND WE WENT TO HIS HOME IN TEMECULA AND TOURED WINE COUNTRY..WHAT A NICE HOME HE HAD. WE HAD ALOT IN COMMON..THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN LIFE IS TO KNOW YOU WILL LIVE WITH JESUS FOREVER! SCOTT IS THERE WITH JESUS AND IS SO HAPPY. WE PRAY SO HARD FOR SCOTTS PARENTS THAT WE NEVER MET. ITS VERY HARD AND WILL TAKE A WHILE TO EASE THE PAIN AND LOSS OF A CHILD..WE WILL KEEP PRAYING DAILY FOR HIS FOLKS. WE LIVE UP IN BIG BEAR NOW AND WE WILL TRY AND MAKE THE RECEPTION.
