Roger Freeman Obituary
Roger Allison Freeman was born December 31, 1927 in Long Beach, Ca to Harvey and Zoe Freeman. Roger's twin brother, Ronald Byron Freeman passed away Sept 29, 2011. Roger died of pneumonia June 22, 2015. Roger was a life member of Long Beach Scottish Rite and Long Beach Masonic Lodge #327. After graduation from Long Beach Poly High School. Roger worked for 41 years for Nabisco (National Biscuit Company).
In 1952, Roger was drafted into the U.S. Marine Corps. For meritorious achievement during operations against the enemy in Korea (November 11, 1952 to November 4, 1953) Roger received a letter of Commendation with commendation ribbon, metal pendant and Combat V.
Roger married Phyllis Morgan(who now resides at Freedom Village in Lake Forest, Ca) Sept 10,1949 at Grace Methodist Church in Long Beach.
Private Services were held for Roger on June 30,2015 at Garden of Remembrance in Westminster Memorial Park. Please sign the guest book at www.presstelegram.com/obits
