Elizabeth Aguilar

Elizabeth Gutierrez Aguilar, 52, of Las Cruces, N.M., passed away on Jan. 2, 2013 in Phoenix, Ariz. surrounded by her family. Elizabeth was a very outgoing person, who enjoyed life, such as listening to music, dancing, singing, joking around and making people laugh, but most of all, spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband Higinio Gutierrez, of Las Cruces; her three daughters Erica Aguilar, Violeta Sosa, of Las Cruces and Rocio Garcia of Sunland Park, N.M.; her mother Maria Elena Diaz Aguilar of Las Cruces; her brothers Luis Aguilar of Ciudad Juarez and Esequiel Aguilar of Las Cruces; sisters Maria Elena Cano of Ciudad Juarez and Silvia Reyes of Sierra Vista, Ariz., Gavina Alvarez and Ana Maria Aguilar, both of Las Cruces. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, 10 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Daniel Aguilar and sister Eva Aguilar, and Aunt Concepcion Aguilar. An evening service will be on Friday Jan. 18, 2013 at 6 p.m. at Getz Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday Jan. 19, 2012 also at Getz Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Masonic Cemetery where she will be laid to rest.
