Guillermo Maldonado Obituary

Guillermo Maldonado, 93, a resident of Silver City, NM went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Fort Bayard Medical Center. Guillermo was born on December 4, 1920 in Gila, New Mexico to Cesario Maldonado and Manuela (Gomez) Maldonado. He is survived by his loving wife of 68years, Juanita (Medrano) Maldonado of Silver City, NM; one son, Guillermo Maldonado and his wife Nancy of Arenas Valley, NM; three daughters, Velia M. Luna and her husband Stan of Albuquerque, NM; Gloria M. Abeyta and her husband Pete of Silver City, NM and Bertha M. Saenz and her husband Jesus of Deming, NM; two sisters, Emma Borrego of Española, NM And Florencia Maldonado of Silver City, NM; seven grandchildren, Edith Abeyta, Jason Abeyta, Tobias Luna, Guillermo Maldonado, Amelia Camille Maldonado, Charolette Saenz and Dominic Saenz and four great grandchildren, Amberley Luna, Nathan Chavez, Jeremy Abeyta and Adrian Abeyta. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 2, 2014 from 5-6pm with the holy rosary beginning at 6pm with Deacon Bill Holguin officiating at Terrazas Funeral Chapels. Funeral mass will be on Monday, November 3, 2014 at 10am at San Isidro Catholic Church in Gila, NM with Father Roberto Barreto. Concluding services with an interment will be held at The Maldonado Family Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers are Jason Abeyta, Tobias Luna, Guillermo Maldonado, Dominic Saenz, Nathan Chavez and Jeremy Abeyta.
