Jeff Keeler Obituary
Funeral services will be Friday morning at 10 o'clock at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Lawrence Martin presiding. Concluding services and interment will follow at Mt. View Cemetery.
Jeff was born to Jewel M. Keeler and Kent Keeler on October 22, 1954 in Deming. He lived in Deming all his life and was a graduate of Deming High School.
Jeff is survived by his wife Marci J. Keeler of Deming; his mother Jewel M. Keeler of Deming; a son, Matthew Keeler and his wife Mary of North Pole, Alaska; daughters, Jessica Keeler and Lauree Peschard of Deming; two grandchildren, Wyatt Keeler and Alexis Peschard; two brothers, Bruce Keeler of Deming and Rodney Keeler of Safford, Arizona; and a large extended family. Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Kent Keeler.
Jeff's 2 passions in life were playing golf and riding his dirt bike. Our days are identical suitcases-all the same size-but some people pack more into them that others.
Pallbearers will be Murray Keeler, Garan Keeler, Justin Keeler, Dane Speer, Bill Speer, and Jose Rios.
In lieu of flowers family requests that memorial contributions be made in Jeff's memory to the charity of your choice.

Please accept my deepest sympathies. I grew up playing with Jeff and his brothers. Our families spent many happy times together. It was his grandfather that baptized me in the Keeler pond. My thoughts and prayers are with all of the Keeler family.

I'm very sorry to hear about Jeff's passing. I grew up with the Keeler family in Deming and went to school and played alot with Jeff and Bruce as we grew up across the Silver City Highway from each other. My heart goes out to the whole Keeler family. It was such a shock to hear about the passing of Jeff, I remember Jeff from High School and from my dad's gas station and propane company. Great picture of Jeff this is how I will continue to remember him always.
God Bless all of you and May God give you the strength to carry on in life. Just take it one day at a time.
