Coca loved the thought:

In the family register of heaven, the small and the great are written with the same pen.

To the shores of unceasing praise: I will celebrate your memory Coca today by making raw fries and eating them with a sprinkle of lime.

"Men need to be reminded of their appointment with God, their date with Deity. The Day is appointed, the Man is ordained, and we are commanded. Put it on your calendar. It is on God´s!"  Vance Havner

May Almighty God, bless the departed soul of Coca to rest in eternal peace, and give strength and courage to his family members to bear this irreparable loss.

Luis most enjoyed these kind of thoughts on our walks.....this one is by Saint Ephrem (c.306-373)
I was also surprised by the fact that children cry when they leave the womb. They cry although they are going out from darkness towards the light, from a narrow space towards a vast universe. In the same way, for human beings, death is a kind of birth. Those who are born weep when they leave the universe, the mother of pain, in order to enter the Paradise of delights.

In memory of our walks and talks, I would share this as a summary of Luis thoughts on how to live a good life. "So I will come to the end of my being - glorifyingGod and being a blessing to men."

Luis was an honest, caring man who was fun to be around. He was very proud of his family and loved them dearly. I'm lucky he was my primo even though we were distant cousins related by our fathers. Louie made me a license plate with our last name on it. I will continue to display it proudly and remember him each time I look at it.

An Evening Angel Came For Señor Coca
He came to Señor Coca softly as the night,
His wings bringing breezes across the city of the cruces.
He came like the absence of the light,
He folded slowly around Señor Coca, what an embrace, what a delight.

He gathered his dark robe closer to Señor Coca,
But gently as the twilight closes day;
He gave Señor Coca one star that still would shine brightly;
And a mind that still could pray.

Then as sweet visions fade in slumber,
And gleaming stars dissolve in dawning skies,
He granted Señor Coca dreams of heavenly happy wonder,
Fading in dawn before his closing eyes!
