It is difficult to find one word to describe "Matt"....colorful, philosopher, outdoorsman, intellectual, deep-thinker. I have known Matt since grade school and the way I have always described him is "friend". Matt was always a source of ideas and views about life and the world, not based on the latest fad, but based on the many books he had read. I remember many conversations about the mysteries of life and listening to his well-reasoned and insightful perceptions. Matt did not form opinions lightly and had a constant thirst for more information to gain a complete understanding of whatever the topic was. Generally, after expressing a point of view, Matt would drive his point home by asking "Ya know what I mean?". No one will dispute his abilities as a story-teller. Funny situations were made funnier, dramatic stories kept you on the edge your seat. Few people had a kinder heart. Few people were more well-intentioned. There is no doubt that Matt has a place in heaven -- "Ya know what I mean?".

MaryLou, Tony, Joe,& Frank-
I'd like to offer my heartfelt condolences on the loss of Andrew in your life. I didn't know that he was so gravely ill.
He was the source of much laughter when I'd cut his hair and he would put his storytelling hat on. What a character he was. He will be greatly missed by myself and Ed.
Sincerely, Hannah Matarazzi
