Charles Springborn Obituary
Lebanon - Charles E. Springborn, 75, passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Hershey. He was the husband of Ann Marie (Komishock) Springborn. Born in Lebanon on September 14, 1942, he was a son of the late Allen and Anna (Spesak) Springborn. In addition to his wife, Charles is survived by a brother, Allen and his wife, Barbara; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brother, James. Charlie worked for the former Quaker Alloy in Lebanon for nearly 30 years where he served as union president. He later retired from the Quill Corporation in Lebanon after 15 years of service. Charlie enjoyed hunting and fishing. Anna and Charlie enjoyed countless flea market and casino trips. They shared a love of travel, which became a big part of their last 20 years together. Traveling cross country, they touched just about every state. Charlie was a happy man with a pure heart - "one of the good guys" if you will. His friendly smile and charming personality were a bonus to the kind and genuine man that Charlie was.
Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 22 at St. Mary's Church, 2 N. 8th Street, Lebanon, PA 17046 with a visitation hour from 9 to 10 a.m. in church. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donation's in Charlie's name may be made to St. Mary's Church at the address above.
