David P. Ziegler

David P. Ziegler ANNVILLE David P. Ziegler, 81, died Saturday, October 24, 2009, in the Tremont Nursing Home. He was the husband of the late Joan E. Huff Troxell Ziegler. Born in Pine Grove, August 19, 1928, he was the son of the late Louis D. and Ruth E. Lengle Ziegler. He worked as a Designer for Campus Sportswear, Cleveland, Ohio and also in merchandising for Sears, Lebanon. Dave was a U.S. Army Veteran of Korea and a graduate of Pine Grove High School. He was a member of Hill Lutheran Church, Cleona, the former secretary and treasurer of the Experimental Aircraft Association, Chapter 390, Fredericksburg, and the Lebanon Camera Club. He enjoyed polka dancing and square dancing. Surviving are three daughters, Rita Marie of Lebanon, Debbie Ann Winchell of Lititz, and Rosemary Joanne Kreisher of Lebanon; a brother, Rev. John Ziegler of Pine Grove; five grandchildren; and two great-grandsons. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St. Annville. Interment will be in Emanuel Cemetery, Lewisberry. Viewing will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home.
