June Keefer Obituary

June G. Keefer, 88, of Lebanon passed away on February 16, 2009, at the Cedar Haven Nursing Home, Lebanon. She was the wife of the late Donald L. Keefer, who died 1993. Born in Pine Grove on June 9, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Harry and Fannie Koble Mease. She enjoyed being a homemaker, and was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Jonestown. She is survived by a daughter, Oriana, wife of Edward Spittle Jr. of Jonestown; a half sister, Virginia Bonawitz of Honeybrook; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Linebrandt Mease; and two sisters, Julia Grimm and Florence Dubbs. Funeral services will be held on Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at the Kreamer & Lum Funeral Home & Crematory, 5 Campmeeting Road, Jonestown. Interment will be at the Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville. Viewing will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
