Loretta J. Walmer

Loretta J. Walmer CORNWALL Loretta J. Walmer, 90, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2014, at Cornwall Manor, Cornwall. She was the wife of the late Carl W. Walmer, who passed away in 2007. Born in Lawn on November 7, 1923, she was the daughter of the late J. Sherk and Maude Olive Nye Stoner. She was a member of the Rocherty United Methodist Church, Lebanon. She had attended Cornwall High School. She was a sewing machine operator at Milsan Mills of Lebanon until 1954. Loretta was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family. She had made many special friendships among all the generations and enjoyed making sure to write a letter to everyone she met. Loretta is survived by her five children: sons, Randy Walmer and wife Judy of Clearwater, Fla., Robin Walmer and wife San of Lebanon, Rick Walmer and wife Caren of Lebanon, daughters, Becky Walmer of Lebanon, Betsy Wise and husband Joey of Lebanon; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and a brother, Glenn Stoner and wife Jeannine of Palmyra. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Russel, Clair, Bruce, Cyrus, Donald; and a sister, Jeanne Mumma. A Memorial service will be held on Wednesday, July 16, 2014 at 8 p.m. from the Kreamer Funeral Home and Crematory, 618 E. Main St., Annville. There will be a time of visitation with the family from 5 p.m. until the time of the service. Interment will be in Mt. Annville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
