Stanley Bowman Obituary

Stanley E. Bowman PALMYRA Stanley E. Bowman, 79, of Palmyra, passed away Monday, March 6, 2006, at the Lebanon VA Medical Center. Born December 12, 1926, in Palmyra, he was son of the late Theodore K. and Emma E. (Sanders) Bowman. Mr. Bowman had served with the U.S. Army during WW II. He was an avid gardener and had been a former member of the Hershey Garden Club; he also enjoyed refinishing furniture and was a genuine handyman. Mr. Bowman was a retired electrician for the Local Union No. 143 IBEW. Surviving are his loving wife of 60 years, Esta M. (Fausnacht) Bowman; two daughters, Jill Laudermilch and Jan Tshudy, both of Palmyra; five grandchildren, Gary, Eric, and Joie Laudermilch, Mary Carsillo, and Aaron Pratt; and a sister, Betty Jane Binkley of Hershey. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at Spring Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 South Lincoln Avenue, Lebanon, PA 17042; the American Heart Association, 1517 Cedar Cliff Drive, Camp Hill, PA 17011; or to United Cerebral Palsy, 44 South 38th Street, Camp Hill, PA 17011. Arrangements by Auer Memorial Home & Cremation Services Inc., Harrisburg.
