Susan Loy Obituary

Susan M. (Krotec) Loy, 58, passed away in her home on Thursday, February 25, 2016. She was the wife of Kevin M. Loy, with whom she shared 34 years of marriage.
Born on June 14, 1957 in Lebanon, she was a daughter of Margaret (Donnachie) Krotec of Palmyra and the late Lawrence "Larry" Krotec.
She was a 1975 graduate of Palmyra High School and a member of the Harrisburg Area Community College Class of 1977. For 38 years Sue worked in the employee relations/human resources department at the The Hershey Company.
She was a member of the Holy Spirit Catholic Church in Palmyra.
Surviving, in addition to her husband and mother, are children, Kristen, at home and Ryan of Frisco, Texas; siblings, Debbie Rudzik (Mark) of Pittsburgh, Laurie Hines (Steve) of Hummelstown, Pam Weidman (John) of Hummelstown and Bob Krotec of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. Also surviving her are several aunts; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday at Holy Spirit, as well as 9 to 11 a.m. prior to Tuesday's service. Interment will be in Grand View Memorial Park, Annville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 245 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078 or the American Cancer Society, PO Box 1274, Lebanon, PA 17042.

Sue was a wonderful, sweet, fun lady. We will never forget all the fun times we had when Ryan and Matt played baseball. Rest in peace, Sue. Prayers for the days ahead Kevin, Kristen and Ryan.

To my aunt Sue, One whom I never really got to know that well though always enjoyed seeing her at family gathering. Seemed to be quiet and shy and your going to be deeply misted. R.I.P.
